| Plumbing and heating I once had a boss who said his team could talk about absolutely anything in the pub after work except "films I haven't seen", "my medical problems", "my relations" and "my central heating". I have to break his rule twenty five years later to tell members that the plumber fixed the water supply to the clubhouse tanks in time for First Fling. Congratulations to Philip Palmer for managing that as well as more recently ensuring that the new water filters were installed. I also have to recommend, in accordance with our Health and Safety procedures, that the thermostat in the boiler room must NEVER be adjusted to anything other than 42 degrees. On a number of occasions, the thermostat has been set by a person unknown, to 50 degrees, a temperature which could, if only one person took a shower, scald someone quite badly. Please leave it alone, thanks!
